Quick Start Guide: Join OmniSocial in Minutes

Whether you're a creator, community member, or developer, getting started on OmniSocial is fast and intuitive. Follow these simple steps to claim your identity, mint your persona, and engage with the decentralized social world.

🪪 1. Create Your Smart Wallet

OmniSocial uses a smart contract wallet to represent your identity, store assets, and sign actions.

• Click “Connect Wallet” on omnisocial.dev

• Choose MetaMask, WalletConnect, or your preferred wallet

• A smart wallet will be created for you automatically—no extra setup needed

🧬 2. Mint Your First Persona

Personas are your on-chain identities. Each is represented by a unique Persona NFT and .omni domain.

• Go to your Profile and click “Create Persona”

• Choose a name, upload an avatar (stored on IPFS), and write a short bio

• Confirm the transaction in your wallet to mint your Persona NFT

• You’ll receive a free .omni domain (e.g., yourname.omni) upon creation

📝 3. Make Your First Post

Every post you make is anchored on-chain and linked to your active persona.

• Navigate to the Feed

• Click “New Post”

• Write your message or upload media—your content is stored via IPFS

• Submit and sign the post—your content is now publicly verifiable

🎁 4. Tip a Creator (Optional)

Support great content with a small tip using OMNI tokens.

• On any post, click the “Tip” button

• Choose an amount and confirm the transaction

• The creator receives the tip directly—no platform fees, ever
