📝 Posting Content

Every post you make is recorded on-chain and attributed to your active PersonaNFT, giving your content a verifiable author and timestamp.

To create a post:

1. Go to the Home Feed

2. Click the "New Post" button

3. Write your message and (optionally) upload media (e.g., image or video)

4. Your content will be uploaded to IPFS and linked on-chain

5. Confirm the post with a wallet transaction (gasless or subsidized where possible)

Posts are public and immutable, but you retain full ownership and provenance as the creator.

💬 Commenting & Replies (coming soon)

Commenting is being progressively rolled out via our Threaded Posts module.

Planned features include:

• On-chain or off-chain comments tied to post IDs

• IPFS-based reply chains

• Persona-authored responses

• Comment moderation based on reputation and DAO signals

This will enable decentralized conversation threads without central servers.

👥 Following and Discovery (optional module)

OmniSocial doesn’t use a traditional “follow” system by default — but integrations with reputation scores and other federated identity systems (like Lens or Nostr) allow:

• Optional follows via linked protocols (e.g. Farcaster, ActivityPub)

• Content filtering based on trusted reputations

• Feed views like:

  • Global feed – all posts from the network

  • Persona feed – only posts from a given user or identity

  • Custom feed – filter by hashtags, tags, reputation domains, or DAO memberships

Coming updates will support trust-based follows using reputation-linked interactions rather than raw follower counts.

🧭 Navigating the Feeds

OmniSocial provides a clean, customizable interface for browsing content:

Feed Type	Description
Global Feed	All public posts across the network
Following Feed	(Optional) Posts from identities or DAOs you follow
Chronological Feed	Time-ordered posts, no algorithm
Persona View	Posts by a specific persona, accessible via username.omni
DAO Feed	Posts, proposals, and comments from DAOs you're in

Filter options include:

• By Persona

• By Tag or Topic

• By DAO

• By Timeframe

• By Reputation Score (e.g. only view verified or trusted creators)

💸 Tipping and Interactions

Each post supports tipping using the OMNI token, allowing you to support creators directly.

To tip:

1. Click the tip icon on any post

2. Choose an amount and confirm the transaction

3. The recipient receives the tip via their linked smart wallet

Additional interactions (likes, shares, reposts) are on the roadmap and will include reputation weighting and DAO-specific visibility.

🔍 Discovery Tools

You can discover users by:

• Searching their .omni name (e.g., satoshi.omni)

• Browsing DAO membership lists

• Viewing top creators (based on rep and engagement)

• Following topic feeds and hashtags

Advanced search (by reputation domain, post content, or credential) is supported via integrated subgraph and indexing.
