✅ How Tipping Works

Tipping allows anyone to support your content using OMNI, the native token of OmniSocial.

To send a tip:

1. Find a post you like.

2. Click the tip icon (💸).

3. Choose a tip amount — e.g., 1 OMNI, 5 OMNI, or a custom amount.

4. Confirm the transaction with your wallet (gas is subsidized for small tips).

The recipient will instantly receive the OMNI token in their smart wallet, linked to their .omni domain and PersonaNFT.

To receive tips, all you need is:

• An active PersonaNFT

• A connected wallet (automatically linked during onboarding)

Tips are on-chain, visible, and wallet-to-wallet — no middlemen, and 100% of the tip goes to the creator.

🎁 Token-Gated Content (for Creators)

You can publish content that’s only viewable by:

• Holders of a specific token (e.g., a DAO membership, an NFT, or OMNI holders)

• Supporters who’ve tipped you a minimum amount

• Members of a specific reputation domain (e.g., verified creators or voters)

Examples of token-gated content:

• Premium articles

• Behind-the-scenes media

• Tutorials or files

• Early access drops

How to create gated content:

1. Go to your creator dashboard (coming soon).

2. Select "New Gated Post" or "Upload Gated Content".

3. Choose the access rule:

   • Minimum OMNI tip

   • Holding a specific NFT

   • DAO membership

   • Reputation tier (e.g. "Creator Level 3+")

4. Upload your content (IPFS, Arweave, or on-chain).

5. Set a preview or teaser if desired.

6. Publish — users who meet the criteria can now unlock it.

🖼️ Edition Drops (NFT Monetization)

OmniSocial supports limited edition content as NFTs.

Example use cases:

• A musician releasing a 100-edition album drop

• An artist selling digital posters

• A writer selling on-chain access to serialized stories

To create an edition drop:

1. Navigate to “Create Drop” in your dashboard.

2. Upload the media (image, audio, text, etc.).

3. Set:

   • Total editions (e.g., 100 copies)

   • Price per edition (e.g., 10 OMNI)

   • Sale duration (e.g., 1 week or permanent)

4. Confirm via wallet – the smart contract will mint the edition series.

5. Your followers can now purchase editions, and you'll receive OMNI directly to your wallet.

Each buyer will own an NFT tied to the drop — visible in their wallet and .omni profile.

💡 Pro Tips for Creators

• Use reputation badges to grow trust and visibility — high rep means more exposure in feeds.

• Add calls to action like “Tip to unlock extended post” or “Edition available for supporters”.

• Join or launch a DAO for community-funded projects with voting and rewards.
